This animation allows to deduce the simple Nernst equation in virtual experiments. For this purpose, different concentration cells can be built and tested in virtual experiments. The principles can be deduced from the standard potentials and various hypotheses about the voltage to be obtained can be formulated and tested in a free experiment.
